Not like I'm angry with TomR, we can disagree. I think this distinction is important: Trump himself is a moron, but there are people around him who are clearly very knowledgeable and are just lying their asses off on national TV, every day.

TomR agrees. I have a hard time reconciling that someone like Hegseth, who has said some idiotic things and done some horrible things, graduated from Princeton and he's far from the only puzzling example.

@lenoxus.bsky.social His extremely badly-made point is that there are many non-electric forms of energy in the econ..., Of course, a worthy goal would be to electrify away from those fuels, but it's technically the case now that 80% of *energy* would not be fulfilled even by infinite electricity.
