I’m a 28-year veteran 7th grade English teacher and mom to a high schooler and middle schooler. We need to understand AI’s risks and its power in order to protect our kids and colleagues. Ignoring it is giving up control. I’d rather be at the table.

I'm a 20 yr veteran 9th-12th grade English teacher and mom to a highschooler and middle schooler. There is no ethical use of AI so long as its data centers are using water at an alarming rate, draining resources from poor usually Black and brown communities, and stealing the work of others.
