For gods sake there is no fucking conspiracy to keep cancer uncured. There is way more money for them in a cure. People aren’t going to stop getting cancer just because it’s curable.

Exactly, big Pharma did not kill mRNA research, the fucking eugenicist quacks currently running the government did.

Seems like other countries will still make mRNA vaccines we can get (if we're allowed to import them). We're mainly just losing technological and market leadership -- the ultimate self-own.

U.S. Research spending dwarfed other countries though. It’s gonna be a massive setback in the research that was ongoing here and the rest of the world is not gonna be able to just pick up that slack immediately.

It'll take some time, but I think China has a good shot at it.

Trump will slap a 150% tariff on it, making it unaffordable to us.

I was told I was inventing things to doom about before RvW was overturned. Told that when I said, he's serious abt mass deportations. I was called an "alarmist" when I said he'll send in military to occupy blue cities. I said it before LA. Pls mute if you think I'm a "doomer." No harm, no foul.

Those are not remotely the same thing, but do go off. You started this with a conspiracy theory about insurance companies killing cancer treatments because they “make money” off of chemo lol. I just don’t think you actually understand what you’re dooming about in this case.

Indeed. I am so tired of people trying to use one explanation for every problem. Reality is more complicated than that.

True. The right is crazy full of grifters. It's as though they don't consider you legitimate if you aren't trying to rip them off.

Andrew Wakefield first launched his attacks on MMR vaccines because he was trying to promote his own vaccine, which he'd patented. He's tried to hide this ever since: briandeer.com/wakefield/va...

You can patent anything, his vaccine never existed.

That is so interesting. I often wondered if Wakefield had a nefarious modus operandi and bingo.

I swear to you if I had a time machine - forget Pilate, forget Hitler - I'd stop the conception of Andrew Wakefield. He's done more damage to public health than every STD and cancer combined.

Sure, but that's hardly the first or only attack on vaccines and also isn't big pharma. It's a good example of grifter bullshit though.

These cretins think that thousands of people who have dedicated their entire working lives to treating cancer are sitting on a cure, because pharma told them to. Thick as mince.

Healthcare is a business here in the USA. There’s no conspiracy to toxic capitalism. It’s all out in the open. HC insurers collect premiums and co-pays while denying payments for necessary treatments. You could ask Brian Thompson how it all works for better insight.

El Jefecito @gbsooner.bsky.social

Yea, this is not evidence or even logical support for the grand conspiracy you’ve casually claimed. Insurers do not make money off of chemo therapy. Denying treatment doesn’t have anything to do with actively suppressing a cure. A less expensive cure would save them money vs chemo.

The Apostrophe @cruxothebiscuit.bsky.social

It isnt a conspiracy, it is the US healthcare industrys business model. There is no money in curing anything, the money is in treating things. Everything about it is designed to create as many chargeable codes as they can.

I did not introduce a conspiracy. You took it as such. Don't throw your shit on me. If you support the business of healthcare stealing from Americans, enjoy yourself. Blame me for my misunderstand, as you see it. ✌️
