Not just a reskin. Ricky has reworked some bits to refine the game heavily. He's confirmed it is not compatible with Renegade whatsoever.

It’s based on Renegade but not just a reskin. I dug Renegade and am looking forward to this. (I should note that one time, Mike from One Stop Co-Op did a solo gaming “compatibility test” and Ricky and I were very similar to each other!)
