I mean yes, I agree with it but it will do absolutely nothing to increase the desperately needed fast uptake of solar. Most people I know who have it didn't realise they were even meant to report this

Although it is income if it's tied to the grid. A policy that doesn't define solar as a commodity makes more sense. Like well water, solar is not being cleaned, refined, or produced by government. It should be a non-issue.
