"Asking ChatGPT" does NOT count as a "doing a fact check". ChatGPT answers change at the drop of a hat, & justifications for it's answers can be entirely imaginary. Eg. Chat GPT is known to cite imaginary legal citations & scientific papers - and hallucinate more when these errors are pointed out.
