What exactly are the “thoughts” of “thoughts and prayers?” And why don’t they include “how can we keep weapons of war out of the wrong hands?”

thoughts are still better than prayers, it's how things change or are invented, i think they spend more time on rehearsed lines they call prayers that do absolutely nothing yet makes them feel like they're doing something, it's to trap stupid people into worthless inaction as action

Personal thoughts about them. How they laughed, walked, the jokes they liked, their insistence that everyone use chopsticks at House of Tseng. With someone I've NEVER met, whose name I never HEARD before they were shot, I'd be a phony to pretend I could hold them personally in my thoughts.
