in my local punk, goth, & i don't know if it's still but it use to be this way for the rave scene there are people who try to normalize SA, stealing from your comrades, psychological abuse, cheating, beating people up for fun, & the kinds of drugs that do kill. this is why i feel unsafe here.
that rather than being held accountable many of these people have ended up being looked to as leaders both enabling them, & encouraging others who would abuse people in their scenes in the same ways. while those who say this isn't alright tend to be less safe for it has had me on edge for years.
