this, I don't have any qualms deporting active gang members and such but you better show fucking reciepts and prove the accused is such through due process, this extrajudicial stuff is asinine and will only mean that innocents get caught up in it, but then again that's the rights real goal here init

I'll go even further, I agree with the idea of trying to fight the cartels, but that needs to be on Mexico's terms, with their involvement, and unless we get their explicit permission to do so, we do not move on this.

If you really want to hamstring the cartels, just decriminalize drugs and offer non-judgemental harm reduction based SUD treatment anywhere health care is provided.

I agree with that but the cartels are more than just drugs, they deal in human trafficking too. No real solution for that other than to offer Mexico help in dealing with it and only moving in to deal with it if they specifically request it.
