In Chicago, book lovers do a indie bookstore crawl on Independent Bookstore day. We go to 15 bookstores and collect "stamps" on our postcards, which give us 10% off books for the next year at our favorite indie store. It's a really fun day!

I was at the #HandsOff protest in Chicago. I went with several friends. I belong to an Indivisible Group, & thought it was important to show up. When I got to the protest, I was relieved and happy to see so many people. As an naturalized citizen, I loved the signs supporting immigrants.
