I thought it was a scam too, as I don't recall being a MS 'tenant'. But it transpires it's just a mindbogglingly confusing way to keep your MS Azure account active. MS has never been user-friendly but this is a new level of stupid. (Apologies for rant) #UX #HCI #usability #UXfail

No rant I couldn’t work it out either and had never even come across azure before - can only assume I have a dormant account somehow but that ‘tenant’ means you subscribe to rather than own the software?

Yes, I have an annual MS365 subscription that in fact I'd paid beginning of July, which makes the demand to "make a purchase" even more nonsensical
