A recent study found 37% of the stuff in your FB feed is now from pages you don't follow, with a lot of it being this shit. They've totally degraded the value of that network by not only allowing this type of content to proliferate but also actively paying people to do it

I would have put the percentage much higher than 37. It's an unusable cesspool of AI slop, crap that's tangentially related to accounts I follow (I guess if I follow my NFL team and the Eagles are also an NFL team, it's the same thing?), and reels entitled "I learned this trick from a chef!"

No matter how many times I hide it, on the rare occasion that I open Facebook, I’m greeted with a 6 month old who can somehow talk and walk getting eaten by animal only for Jesus to come save it

I'm surprised it's only 37%.
