Nothing has hit me more in terms of feeling old than being informed that my friend's kids are now doing fantasy football leagues.
Books are cool, buy local, it’s in a great spot, and it’s a cool novelty but The Book Loft is a totally impractical and not at all chill place to casually shop for a book. Bring people in town visiting or go during the week, but this is more of a tourist thing to do imo

I previewed what I think is the biggest rivalry in sports media ESPN/SEC/College Gameday vs. Fox/Big Ten/BNK. What replaces headgear? Does BNK avoid going to games like Ohio State vs. Marshall? Do we see Portnoy and McAfee become a thing? This and other questions....
I tried Domino’s for dinner because it’s been about 15 ish years, the ad blitz was wearing me down (good deals and new crust options) and there is one 250 yards away from me. The verdict- exceeded expectations. Ny crust is solid. This was like 13 bucks.

There is so much news going on, I don't think we are fully grasping how big this is. ANYONE with ESPN will now be able to watch WWE PPVs via the app and some will air on ESPN. This gets so many new people in the door. WWE will soon be a top 4 US "sport" imo

Gerrymandering, regardless of who is doing it and who it benefits, objectively sucks and further jams up the wheels of democracy. We need to move away from encouraging and escalating the practice and instead work towards a sustainable fair way to draw maps in every state.
There is already a very feisty rivalry between ESPN and FOX on the CFB front (reallignment, media rights, scheduling, pregame shows). Baked into that is SEC vs. Big Ten. Now you add Barstool to the mix with McAfee and co on the other side of the equation. Buckle up folks!

Obviously digital media companies face headwins. It's been a tough go for all companies. But those brands were so respected and well liked. The man made no attempt to absorb what he was in charge of why the brands were so beloved. Obtuse and adversarial the whole way.
