Agreed (I think). I was being facetious. Before losing power Dems had the most productive Congress since LBJ. I believe better messaging is needed but they are held to an impossible standard. Cant expect things to change if we’re the do nothings. I’d say get involved. More jobs than just candidate.

I’m 67. Next yr will mark 50 yrs of voting and I’ve never missed voting in a single election. My first protest was at age 12. In both parties the majority are the moderates. People hate change. Change is scary and we need to message that our proposals aren’t scary and why they aren’t.

I listened to an interview with former Ca. Governor Jerry Brown and he was asked about his success in getting difficult issues passed. He was honest and spoke honestly. He would say this will cost a lot of money in the beginning but will save money in the future and the long run

I’m not rich but you’d never guess by the daily texts and emails I get. I’m in NC with 2 R senators and a state so gerrymandered one judge described it with surgical precision. I’ve never missed voting in a single election in 49 yrs. I email, write post cards, protest and work the polls.
