I would say it was February of 2020 when it was really obvious it was going to go global. While, the first reports were out of China in December, it wasn’t a given in the following January that it really was going to spread globally. Also, the world was focused on how Australia was on fire.

Yes February was when it started to stop feeling like rumors and speculation I remember shopping for supplies and pulling Kiddo out of school several days before they officially closed everything

I remember pulling my principal aside the day we were shutting down “just for 3 weeks”. I warned that my public health friends say we likely won’t reopen in person for the rest of the school year.” She was stunned, then quickly pivoted to make time for a “routine pre-vacation locker clean out”!
