What would you do if a neighbor in your building parks their huge truck illegally blocking the sidewalk every damn day

I would ask him if he knows it's illegal and he could get a ticket. Then I'd call a staffer in my councillor's office to see if someone could issue a warning.

Today they almost hit a cyclist as they were driving up to the building to park illegally as usual. The cyclist U-turned and came over to the driver's window to yell at them for driving recklessly and before riding away the cyclist yelled, "and you're parked illegally, you're blocking the sidewalk!"

I'm going to submit one and hopefully they get ticketed eventually. But I'm wondering if that will actually change behavior. It seems like one ticket is not enough for daily offenses and they might just assume it's still worth it for almost free parking

oh, I would submit one everyday 😀, but it's already part of my daily routine to submit a bunch of tickets for bike lane parking from my bike camera

I agree! I submitted one every day for a certain company whose truck was always in the bike lane on J and they no longer park there. Report it every day especially at a time where the truck is more likely not to be moved.
