I love John Lee Hooker, and love his song “Boom Boom”. The whole movie is a love letter to Chicago, but this scene is in particular, showing the hustle and bustle, the street vendors, the centrality of music to the city as a character in the movie. Might be my favorite scene in Blues Brothers.
