This is an interesting thought about why my husband who is in tech, complained whenever I kept stuff I needed regularly for kid events in the car.

My car was "messy" (it wasn't) which is why it was the only car used to transport the kid or dog. I don't believe the dog was ever in his car over her 12 years of life
