The coach for my kid's last rec league team was regularly making kids cry at practice and after games. It got so bad I ended up pulling him from the last few practices and final game because fuck it, it was supposed to be rec.

Exactly. We let our kids make their own decisions, but holy mackerel some of the parents & coaches have weird obsessions.
