100% no. At 1988, a 60 year old man who was a regular at the convenience store where I worked (I was 18) ordered me to quit my job and let him take care of me. He had a wife. He wanted a barely legal mistress. He boasted about how much money he had. 1988 sucked.

Sadly, I doubt that was the 80's fault, because I could see that happening today, or any day in between. Pervy old white men still exist, and are way too bold because they can get away with it.

I'm a little younger (born 77) and I just remember middle school in the 80s and hitting1990 and thinking that I hope this decade is better.
