Ok, so Corbyn peels off Labour votes, which will let in someone else in many constituencies. That ‘someone else’ will be either Reform or Conservative. If the Tories do a deal with Reform, you could see Nigel Farage as PM. Just because we don’t want it to happen doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

I don’t believe any remaining Labour voters would vote for Corbyn.. but Greens would because a lot of the Corbyn cult went there..it’ll be that 10% washing around the system ..and Reform is already underperforming despite the hype .. vote Reform get a used Tory won’t win in North, Wales or Scotland

It is very interesting. I think their calculation is they’re ’waiting for traction’ and would only join once the initial excitement has subsided. If they join now and it all fizzles out (à la SDP), their careers will go ‘Chuka Umunna’ - he was a future leader of the Labour Party once upon a time.

I’m with Ruth on this. The Compo nutjobs wouldn’t vote for Labour to save their lives. They were mostly going to vote Green, and if (and it’s a big if) Compo can get people to stand in their constituencies, the greens will lose out.
