Truth. The consequences of the incompetence from the first time around, COVID ineptitude specifically, is still in play & will continue to be for years. The fuckery going on now? Decades of rebuild & we're only 6 months in & Mother Nature's unforeseen hasn't even entered the picture... yet.

Reagan was more of the same corruption that had always existed in American politics. Show me an era when it was benign. There was never fascism against their own population, however. This is the new phenomenon.

What gets me is how a big chunk of the generation that produced songs like "Get Together" mutated into Fox viewers and Trumpers. Time for some Sister Souljah music, instead. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xGx...

As long as corporate Democrats are still in play, this’ll never be fixed even if they win. And nevermind the fact that this Supreme Court will reverse anything that will miraculously get passed for the benefit of regular people, anyway.

Even if he drops dead today (God willing), he and all those who have refused to hold him accountable have done so much harm to this country. How in the world can the Bush² years seem nostalgic? Heck, I'd even opt for Reagan now. They were horrible, but not destroy the US from inside terrible.

Potentially unpopular belief: they were not so horrible, actually. It was easy for some to see them as horrible when we collectively lacked the frame of reference for what "truly utterly horrible for the country" looked like that we have now.

Every dem president since Clinton has helped creep the fascism along. Not as fast or in your face as the republicans, but they helped. Until we realize we are pretty much on our own, things get worse. Most Dem leaders are fine with this and that’s why they aren’t mounting an effective opposition
