(1) I have spent the day with my parents who are lovely people. (2) I have cooked, cleaned, organised and so on. Oh - and fed the cat. (3) I'm still working on this one, but some of the above tangentially qualifies, I guess...

Cleaning and organizing is *definitely* making things better! Leaving something better than you found it isn't always heroic or spectacular, but even the more mundane things are necessary to keep things from sliding into chaos. :)
