(1/3) Greetings, I am writing to express my support for the proposal being presented on September 3 at 10:30AM regarding redirecting 911 calls for parking violations to the department of finance rather than CPD.

(2/3) I frequently see parking violations that pose a direct threat to pedestrian, cyclist, and driver safety but I do not feel confident that CPD will handle it quickly and effectively, so refrain from calling.

(3/3) Knowing that a Rapid Response Parking Enforcement Aide would respond to a call instead would increase my reporting of these violations. I think this proposal is excellent and reduces reliance on CPD. I hope the committee will approve Ald. Martin's proposal.
