I remember the day I got my 1st Covid shot. I was so relieved. So thrilled. After months of working on the Covid unit. It felt like a GREAT weight of fear and anxiety being lifted, that I was protected from the very worst of the virus. Very sobering how far we’ve fallen in this horrific presidency.

I will go to Montreal to get vaccinated this year if I have to. Asked for a transfer to London, so might not be an issue in the future. People lined up to get the polio vaccine when it came out. Now, people are protesting against vaccines. It's stunning how far we've fallen and how fast.

So instead of giving people at least the option, they're just going to completely remove them? JFC, I hope they get their pants sued off.

Waiting for the announcement that all travelers will be subjected to "mRNA scanners" at ports of entry, to prevent Americans from traveling to get vaccinated

My plan to start providing information about how to get vaccinated in Mexico has just jumped up in priority.

I am near the US CANADA border and need an idea of how to begin.

So I just called a Rexall pharmacy in Ontario they are not taking US visitors for fall COVID shots because “they have no one to bill” and would not accept out of pocket payment.

Brilliant. Not accepting out of pocket payment feels like a policy decision from above, as in government

I'm also anticipating a ban on Americans being able to freely travel outside of the country. That's a standard page in any authoritarian playbook, and one that Trump certainly won't miss. Not this year I don't think, but next year possibly.
