Yes, plus Superior Court judges will roast the prosecutors alive for consistently overcharging cases. None of them are going to put up with this crap and they are just going to dismiss a huge number of cases.

I dunno man if I were a front-line prosecutor being asked to do this stuff ... I think I'd be eyeing the exits

Oh yeah. Literally everyone I used to work with there has left. I think the only reason that some are staying is the glut of lawyers on the market leaving government makes it a lot harder to find work in DC right now.
