My gut feeling is Ryan might have a shot but Acton does not. I don't really know why I feel that way other than she's going to get slaughtered in fundraising w a million anti-covid lock down ads against her (plus sexist vibes, which I hope are wrong but I worry about)
It’s the Covid restrictions for me we’ll get negative votes outside of the cities.
Like maybe we can convince the mayor of Toledo I don’t know, Ryan has great name recognition…but it also just feels like competitive liberal democracy is dying out in Ohio. Had been for a decade or more but now it’s pretty accurate. All we have left are referendums and I just hope and pray
that the state legislature doesn’t just ignore those as badly as the state government has in Missouri!
Yeah. I mean I guess I don't know. I think Sherrod being on the ballot and (Trump not) is good. Obvi a lot depends on if the Trump hogs come out to vote. I think the more liberal and suburban vote will get out. But it's a long way away and lots could happen. I don't think Viv is a good candidate
He’s the furthest right most anti establishment nominee basically ever in a state of DeWine, Kasich, Taft, and Voinovich. None of which where moderates rhetorically or policy wise but they where very much austere business conservative types and I think courting some of the traditional Republicans

Right, for sure. But you could sketch an economic (or otherwise turbulent) scenario where rurals/exurbs stay home and col+ voters in teh suburbs are highly engaged (like a 2018+ scenario). I don't know how to handicap that but I think it's possible.
