Just tried a Salah draft. Not even going to post it because of how much I dislike it. I had to downgrade about five players I really want! Think it could be doable for someone who is not on an early bench boost, but Salah plus BB is way too many compromises for me.
Would you WC early if he starts banging? Or just keep a way to get him?
I guess my options are open. But I would say that my assumption is that he will do well - so him banging in the first few weeks is baked in to the decision. If he flops it would be a bonus. Going without isn't a 'Salah is bad thing', it's a 'I can do a LOT with that money' thing.
I’ve tried a few super premium teams, but the quality and potential of the premium and sub-premium is soooo good compared to what you get even at 6,5 it’s just not worth it imo. My 7th attacker is Rogers at 7m and that’s with two 6m defenders and a 5m keeper.
Trying to go without Salah but quite difficult considering how much of a monster he seems to be right now, his creative game from last season has been superb. An assist machine without a doubt - you pay a lot for it though.
I like my Salh draft, but for sure not if i was BB Gw1/2, guess it comes down to that, think the new chips have opened up the game to a lot more variety in early teams, that's a good thing, wll make the game a lot more aggressive early on i think.
In my opinion the Salah price tag is just that little bit out of reach. I currently have a Haaland draft (only 0.5m less) which I'm seriously considering for BB GW1. Small margins ....
I agree. Even though I'd love Salah, I just don't think a bb with 14m+ players is optimal. He could ruin great bb teams with a big haul of course, but feel I've got to go for the upside with it personally
I think they'll all WC v early.
