Brexit is hurting our economy every single day and to be able to afford pensioners, child benefit, the NHS, a proper military, national infrastructure, communications, education etc. (I could go on) we need to rejoin the EU. It is as simple as that.

Great idea. Any thoughts where the £20bn first year Single Market Membership fee comes from ? Tax increases or cuts to the NHS/Benefits ? We always paid roughly the same as France 🤔
The National Institute of Economic & Social Research (Niesr) estimates business investment was as much as 13% lower in 2023 than under a remain scenario. While it expects this loss to narrow to about 8% by 2035 as businesses adapt, it still corresponds to a GDP loss of 5-6% (about £2,300 a person).
Whenever people say GDP is a lot lower (your report says 2-3% by 2023), I like to remind them that GDP driven by immigration doesn't actually help individual living standards. Just have a look at Microtrends.net how UK GDP per person grew while we were in the EU post 2010 compared to earlier 🤔
Has your quality of life improved since Brexit?
I think I am like 95% of the rest of the population, other than a bit of an increase in queueing when I go on holiday it hasn't made a huge difference. My objection to the EU has always been about the huge financial contribution the UK was asked to make since about 2008 with little to show for it 🤔
You lost me when you said 95% of the rest of the population. We can all feel the turndown in prospects for this country since Brexit. Under the Tories it was a race to the bottom. Under Labour the UK is fighting to stay afloat and relevant. It impacted my liberty and divided the nation. Brexshit.
So you are one of the 5%. But most people, yes they see an effect from leaving the EU and regret it, but it wasn't milk and honey when we were in the EU. The UK wasn't among the countries getting huge farm subsidies and cohesion funds. And we also had Covid which has an effect so 🤔
I don’t believe in your 95% I think it is fictional. Every farmer in Britain would prefer to be in the EU because the market place for their produce was immense and EASY. Same with fishermen BTW
