I don't think she's necessarily cuddling it, as many others alluded to here as well. More like she's protecting her puppy, that's not a happy or content face at all, she's stressed out.

I mean, she's a pit breed. Have you ever had one? I've had two mixed ones. "Stressed" seems to be a default state for them. They don't relax very well.

I have one who's happy literally 24/7 (has never barked or snapped at anyone, or even gotten upset) and I've met many that are the same way. You're either a bad pet owner or trying to spread Pittie propaganda, or both. Fuck off :)

That's good, you got a chill one. I've not had that kind of luck. Even the one we got at the age of 8 after living with good people has been pretty intense. My sister has adopted and fostered the breed for years, hers have been pretty intense too. They're nanny dogs, they worry.

1000% I have 3 rescue pits from very high abuse/neglect situations. All 3 were slated to be put down until a second chance rescue stepped in and saved them. They are completely non-aggressive. One is a half-Frenchie and we use an anti-anxiety meds to help. That dog is terrified.

Mine is always either smiling or chill. I don't know what that person was talking about. Or snoring, I forgot snoring. And farting. That does seem to startle him sometimes. 😁

Me either. Almost every pittie I've ever met has been just a chill gigantic snuggle bug. The only two I've met that were balls of anxiety were rescues from presumably terrible humans.

Yessss I've never seen a dog smile as big as my Pitty 🥺🥺🥺 and yeah. He fucking farts. ALL THE TIME. And they smell worse than any dog fart I've ever smelled 😭
