You owe them nothing, my lovely. You can go sick with stress for the rest of your notice, you don’t have to take their rubbish when they haven’t stood by you.

They’ve actually been very good about it so I don’t feel that would be the right thing to do, especially as the situation causing the stress is one I may not be responsible for, but for which I am accountable.

Sadly, that’s my job. If I were a minion I could just sit back and relax. I’m not and there is an expectation of work in this period. My feelings are my own, and I should be able to work around those. Let’s see.

Good luck, your loyalty is highly commendable. I have been taken for a fool due to mine enough times, now I realise no one has my back but me. I might seem harsh but you get tired of it.
