Maybe. If I sling the stethoscope around my neck. I will get one less Sherlock Holmes / Professor Layton / Dr. Jones. Maybe. (Plenty of folks still recognize the character, I'm just tired of the nerd bros being so confidently wrong.)

And people who confidently tell you that you are character x (when you're not) mainly only know like 3 different tv shows/movies and that's it. (and are often not even in cosplay)

The attitude you’re getting just baffles me, like it’s fine to be mistaken about a character/cosplay, all they have to do is go ‘oh okay, that’s cool too!’ and move on with their lives. AND YET 🙃
