i’ll also say that while I am Ashkenazi, I love going to Mizraḥi or otherwise Sephardi-sphere services and they always seem to appreciate me coming if only because I try to follow the minhag ha-makom rather than my own private choice, which is apparently rare in Ashkenazi guests
My neighbourhood is pretty cool because we have a mix, and compared to the U.S. more recent Jewish immigration. We have Indian, Yemenite, Egyptian, Moroccan, Libyan, Tunisian, Georgian, Uzbek, Iraqi and Iranian friends/neighbours. We laugh at the Modi sketches on the differences.
