How do you do Squareword in 6 (or I've even seen 5)? That means your first guess told you enough about the grid that you could solve it without any more guessing. What am I missing?

I have a self imposed starter word rule that applies to all word games- it's got to be something from my environment, something appropriate, or a word I just heard on TV/read in a book. That means it's different every day. I like a challenge!
