7/7 democracy looks like in action and what we owe to the brave men and women who fought to preserve it. Many films also highlight these efforts like the recent film about Lee Miller & the series “Masters of War.” I think, however, that journalism must also highlight & remind of the contributions

We must take up ethical elements of persuasion to present the truths, to counter the hate that the GOP spews constantly. We must use their tactics against them. We must enlist the best & brightest in the field of persuasion & marketing & also enlist influencers to build/

We must create an Uncle Sam metaphor for these new generations while also we make the men & women of the past relevant to them as much as any modern hero. “Masters of the Air” paired the original with the current. We can counter
the GOP’s attempt to erase the history of all heroes including the WIRES, WASPS,WRENS, Tuskegee Airmen, & other minority everyday men & women heroes not only of WWII, but also in other conflicts & those who have served in peacetime. We must highlight them in video clips & film for modern consumers.
