That’s the puzzling part. Experienced phlebotomists never hit the same vein two days in a row. I’m several months post kidney transplant and I go for a lot of blood draws and they’re very careful about over using my veins. Sometimes I wish they had never taken my port out.

I have infusions once a month and the same. If I get blood drawn the day prior, they avoid that vein and arm and use the smallest needle possible...he has a hack working on him.

When I was hospitalised for septic shock the smartest decision I made was to have a PICC line installed. I was in for 4 1/2 months and then they decided my kidneys weren’t coming back and installed my catheter but in the meantime I avoided a lot of poking. You’re right, a hack🙄
