I get that. I was around to see the immediate hate towards 1-3 and I think the majority of people hated how annoying some characters were, the use of CGI, and how they were written. A very stark contrast to how people view them now. But yeah, people were ruthless.

But people are still ruthless now for tearing down the newer movies and attacking the actors based on gender and race. I feel like the hate is even louder this time around and it’s all thanks to social media. The fandom disgusts me sometimes.
