This happens every time there’s a big movie with an animal that steals the show. There’s an uptick of people wanting certain pets but then a good chunk of them get returned or abandoned after the “high” wears down. It’s a sad fact, but I really hope these adopted pets find a really good home.
While nothing can top S1 and S3 was just mediocre, I think S2 had some really great moments and acting standouts like Park Sung-hoon and Kang Ae-shim.

I get that. I was around to see the immediate hate towards 1-3 and I think the majority of people hated how annoying some characters were, the use of CGI, and how they were written. A very stark contrast to how people view them now. But yeah, people were ruthless.

I think Lost World and the 3rd movie were the best in the entire series. I think the original 3 movies were so focused on a more stable storyline than the new movies did. I think they were also good at adding in the scares without having to use mutant dinosaurs to do it.
I’ve been following Chris’ career from the beginning and honestly, before the MCU, he showed off his range with dramatic roles like Sunshine, London and Puncture and he’s so well known for his comedic and romantic chops too. So this is not his first rodeo with showing off his range. 😁

The last SDCC I went to 2 years ago, that’s all anyone could talk about was how “boring” SDCC was without the big studios. I mean, I do feel like there’s more to SDCC than just big Hollywood studio panels, but I do agree that SDCC has lost a lot of its magic in general.
