Wouldn’t the minivan you describe be a Ford Transit Connect or a Ram ProMaster City? I assume those are available in Canada as well.

I’m not looking for a cargo carrier - rather a battery electric passenger van that can also do the occasional cargo run like this. Most passenger minivans can do this but the only electric one so far (ID.Buzz) was too pricey for its battery / range capabilities.

OK, I wasn’t sure about your passenger needs. Although I believe they make passenger versions of those, neither are electric here so it’s moot anyway.
