But it requires 67 votes, so about as likely as asking Trump to fire him. Let's not pile on folks who are trying to do the right thing.

Question is: is there value in having public officials calling for it? I believe there is. Gets the issue in front of more and more people. In today's fragmented media landscape, many haven't even seen this issue yet.

I have never been and likely never will be a Democrat, but I have no clue why they don't just post draft articles of impeachment on the Internet and keep updating them (not the ticky-tack stuff, just the plentiful big things). With a message like "Let us know when you wake up and are ready to go."

I'm happy if they call for either firing or impeachment. Both help shape the discourse, which is important.
