BP was the surprise of the year for me. I didn’t have “rogue-like Myst-style puzzle game merged with carcassonne” on my wish list but I would have if I’d known how awesome that could be.

The top 7 metacritic rated games of this year had 5 games released not at full $70 or $80 price. And the other two were just the switch 2 Zelda updates. We love indie and smaller games!
