A wild mushroom growing from the forest floor. It has a distinctly phallic appearance.

Good morning from Misery Valley, where a Black Woodpecker has just frolicked for my pleasure on a tree trunk just out of shot.

A valley in the Dolomites. Trees. Sun. Mist. The whole and absolute delight.

When Slartibartfast designed the Dolomites you imagine he just handed in his work and the editor gave it a glance before sending it back with a couple of minor edits and an approving “cracking stuff, this, Slarti. Keep it up.”

A valley with trees in front and mountains behind and the kind of light, approaching sunset, that inspires spontaneous and ill-advised proposals. A mountain ridge silhouetted against blue sky. Chalet in the foreground right. Trees, beauty, fresh clean air. More ridiculously beautiful mountains, this time framed by a pine in the foreground left and a bit of another pine on the right. I hardly need describe this, so I? Glorious mountains, blue sky, trees and so forth.
