Anyone have advice for bike lights? My front one which I love because it’s super bright keeps on getting stolen 😐 I know y’all are going to say “just take it with you inside.” Well yeah, I do, but sometimes I may hop on my bike several times a day. I don’t want to keep on remembering to take them.

Anyone have recommendations for theft proof bike lights? Someone stole my bike seat and seatpost once 😐 and then so I made that locked down with a special key rather than quick release I don’t want to have to keep on buying lights but I also want to keep my riding habits as frictionless as possible
I have a super cheap set I use that I don't mind being stolen that I leave on my bike, and a nicer set I use for long rides (ie, if I am spending time gearing up).
Hub dynamo-powered lights are best if you want one that is very hard to gank.
If budget allows (& if you mostly ride one bike) maybe dynamo?

I think the recommendation to use a helmet light is your best bet, but if you’re looking for a bolt-on light, Curbside has a few on sale at the moment. I have the Spanninga Elips Battery Rack Mount Rear Light on my rear rack and have been happy with it so far.
This helmet light is on the pricier side but it functions as both a front and rear light, so if you consider it to be $25 per side it’s actually a good deal! (No personal experience with this light) curbsidecycle.com/products/top...
