The USSR lost control of all Polish territory in 1941, well before the Holocaust began. When Nazi German invaded the USSR there was no effort to evacuate Jews from Poland. The only Polish Jews the USSR might have "saved" from the Holocaust were those they shipped off to the gulags in 1940.

In what way? You claimed the Jews on the Soviet side of the Soviet-Nazi partition of Poland survived. They mostly did not, and the USSR made no effort to protect or evacuate them.
