A #poll was conducted by @sumsung.bsky.social on the vaguely #racist #AmericanEagle advertisement in case you're wondering as to the long term strategy of that decision... I'll just point again to the fact that this was an #Android poll, as in NOT #apple... So that 22% is missing the 🎯 demographic.

77% of respondants to the poll said they were either LESS likely to buy American Eagle or that the racially charged ad had no effect on their purchases. 22% said they were more likely to buy American Eagle now... (Evidently, 1% of respondants answered

And yes, @lawgurrl.bsky.social , should you choose to quote my other comment on this post in your podcast, I did in fact, get straight A's in all of my marketing-related coursework in college. The fact still remains: Racism gets people talking but not spending. 😉
