🧶 Knitting pattern called for 3 US (3 mm) needles. These don’t exist. It’s either 3 US (3.25 mm) or 2.5 US (3 mm). Knowing this, I somehow ended up starting with 2 US (2.75 mm), not a 3 in sight. Thankfully, I was only a few hours in and starting over is part of life ❤️‍🩹 Take two 🎬

did you know choice sells a range of needles. cheap. and they're powder coated aluminium i think. I love them. my point of call if I need a size in a hurry without bankrupting myself self. also standard needle size should be a thing by now.

Definitely agree on the need for standard needle size, generally I’m in the higher numbers where metric and US sizes are more dissimilar, it’s been a good lesson 😅

Ha! It’s the first one I’ve caught 🙂(rewriting confusing patterns for clarity notwithstanding)

Addi sells 3mm needles, I have several of them. I'm pretty sure HiyaHiya do as well, I have the tips in that size in my interchangeables
