I do think this has been a paradigm shift on this among large sections of the British left. For the trans community we simply will not accept ‘let’s all be friends and put aside our differences’. There was a time even I would have maybe gone along with that - but it’s not possible post SC ruling

there is no reason why they should treat trans people raising those concerns in any way differently from eastern europeans or jews and maybe this should cause some reflection on whether you have been too quick to dismiss those complaints about him too
