One of the local coyotes decided to see me off on my kayak this evening. Always fun to run into one of these guys as long as we each keep our distance.

Coyotes rarely hurt humans, as you can see he just wanted to get past you. He was more of a looky loo. Now a cougar on the other hand is a different story!

I see coyotes two or three times a week. I’m not afraid of them. It’s just good common sense to keep some distance between yourself and wildlife.

So many dislike them but I just am thrilled if I see them. You just need to keep your pets safe…common sense. I hear them a few nights a week -their packs howling. So much better than the city sounds. To see a wolf? Even a bigger thrill! Off the charts! All Beautiful! Thx for posting! 🐾🐾

Every time I see a coyote in Chicago I'm so delighted. Was excited to see one in Vancouver BC as well. Other than Yellowstone, I don't think I've seen any in non-urban environments.
