I've not once said invasion was excused. That's what I mean by you being lazy. The point is that propaganda saying Putin has some imperial expansion plan is risible. If that was the case, he would have invaded earlier. I'm not supporting Putin, I'm educating myself about western interference.

You are 100% supporting Putin with what you write. Imperial expansion or not, Putin’s aim has clearly been to keep Ukraine subservient to Russia, just like Belarus and Georgia. He has said this himself, so you blaming the west is just you supporting him.

Criticising UK government action does not mean supporting Putin. Example - I believe: 1. Putin is a scary, asshole 2. NATO expansion has a role in Putin's desire for neighbouring states to be subservient to Russia. They're not mutually exclusive. I could have a better debate with a 9-year-old.
