Well of TSLA stock keeps dropping at 12% a day, we will know pretty soon. Itβs only been worth about $30 bucks a share since, well forever, in my opinion and is now the worldβs biggest meme stock.

Agree
Pretty crazy how stocks can just increase despite not releasing anything that you said you would. And when you do, it gets recalled immediately.
The post election runup for Tesla was fueled by the "good news" that Tesla's YOY sales and profits were likely to fall for 2024 and we had just elected a president who was actively hostile to EVs and clean energy. IOW, the initial direction was the exact opposite of the rational direction.
Even crazier is Bitcoin. Nothing backs Bitcoin. It is just essentially a bet that somebody is a bigger fool than you when you buy it.
Of course nothing backs it, just like gold. Nothing backs gold. Gold is that which backs things. Bitcoin is that which backs things
Hey, I didnβt say nobody should invest in bitcoin. I only expressed an opinion about what I think about people buying bitcoin. YOLO. Double down if you dare. I donβt care. And as in Vegas, βGood luck.βπ
Hey I didn't say everybody should invest in Bitcoin. You mentioned it not being backed by something. I pointed out that gold and Bitcoin aren't things that need to be backed, they are things that back. I'm just out here spreading education. YOLO. You only learn once
The euro is a poker chip?
Substitute "currency" where the post reads "dollar".
Bitcoin is currency so it would make even less sense if we did that Just seems like it's pointing out things that are true for every currency and then saying but if This is true for Bitcoin then it's not real π€
What has anyone "bought" with crypto? A pizza once I understand. Outside of that it is ONLY a casino table game. It has zero utility save for betting.
Why would you think youd hear bout me buying things from the Ren faire last year? Why would you think youd hear news stories about anyone else buying stuff with it? Like yeah you see news stories about news worthy things, like firsts π€ Its greatest utility is for saving. No better money to save in
You used your "money" once last year to buy something? Well that settles it, no better money or there.
I guess we see it differently because I see saving as using. I'm using money to save. It's a use case for money. You seem to think that you only use money when you spend it. Can you name a better money for saving? Ps. You didn't answer the question π I'm still wondering
You can sell your crypto and then buy more crypto
Tesla's valuation at its peak was 10x that of Toyota (largest car maker in the world). But Tesla makes about 1/8th the cars Toyota does. Today, its market cap is still 4x Toyota. There's a lot more room to drop.
Agree.
